All our identified QTLs on chromosome 2B were derived from the resistant parent ‘AAC Innova’, indicating that they might relate to one of these single genes. However, the phenotypic variation explained (<10%) by all individual 2B loci detected in this study suggests that the identified loci are different from those previously reported on the long arm of chromosome 2B, which have been reported to provide greater resistance than observed for individual QTLs in this study.
